Gold Paper Weaving with Vase

Hi everyone!  I just posted this card over on the Art Neko Galleries blog, and I wanted to let y'all know.  I did some more paper weaving, this time with black and gold cardstocks.  I used a much tighter weave and it reminds me of a placemat or a rug.  I had a lot of fun playing with this, just experimenting with the tightness and looseness of the weave.

I stamped this image with Versamark and embossed it with gold embossing powder.  This is from Art Neko's Tea Time in the Orient sheet.  I thought this was a vase, but when I read the description on the website, it says it is a tea cup with a cover over it to keep the tea warm.  How neat!  It's fun to learn something new!
